Fall Break is quite early this year and will be from October 3rd to October 7th. Students should also know that on the following Monday, on October 10th, they do not have school as well as it is a teacher work day. 

During the break McClintock Cross Country will have a meet on the 5th at 4pm at Glendale Heroes Regional Park. Other than cross country’s meet there will be no school sporting events. If you are looking to take a break away from school then you might enjoy watching ASU football games, specifically the home game against Washington on the 8th. Gammage theater also starts its broadway show season over break and will begin with Six the Musical. The weather during break will also be much better for hiking or walks which is one of my favorite ways to relax and destress. 

After the break during most of October, fall sports will be in full effect in the middle of their seasons. There will be many opportunities for students to attend if they want to support our school. At the end of October, winter sports will have tryouts and might have some open practice before then. 

If you want to join in a sport then be prepared before the week of October 31st. Make sure to destress during the break and be prepared for a great quarter afterwards!
