It’s college application season and many deadlines are passing by. One of the most important is the Free Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA). While the deadline is in June, it is crucial to submit the application as soon as possible for maximum financial aid.
As many know, the application for the 2024-25 school year has been redone to be a simpler and quicker process. This includes fewer questions and being available in more languages, however, it has been soft launched.
This means anyone who tries to complete a form will more than likely experience technical issues. The most common issue is being placed in a waiting room as the site is updated in real time. If this happens, applications are automatically saved, so progress won’t be lost.
Schools will begin to receive students’ information at the end of January. Make sure to compare financial aid offers once they start to arrive.
For any further assistance relating to the FAFSA or career-wise, College Connect is available in the library February 22nd at both lunches. Please check the Schoology counseling course for more dates and information.
