At an early morning pep rally on Senior Lawn on Fri., Nov. 17, a representative of City of Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell named Nov. 19 as McClintock High Band day.

The band placed 7th in their division and will be competing on Saturday at the Arizona State University state band competition.  The early morning pep rally was intended to congratulate the band and wish them well at state.

In addition to the representative of the mayor, school board member Berdetta Hodge was in attendance to honor the band.
