McClintock’s Science Olympiad team has recently competed their season for the year with some impressive results. Science Olympiad is a club that participates in competitions relating to various areas of science.
Students study for specific events in the areas of, Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science and Chemistry, Technology and Engineering, and Inquiry. At competitions, they attend tests, labs, or build events in order to show their skills.
Arizona’s state Science Olympiad tournament is held at ASU, where students from all over the state go to compete. Throughout the day, students are competing all over campus. At the end of the day, students learn their placement in an assembly.
McClintock’s team this year took home multiple medals and ribbons, showcasing the hard work they put in to learning this year. Congrats to all and good luck for those competing next year!
