AIMS and AzMERIT: McClintock preps for state standardized testing

McClintock High School students will be participating in AIMS and AzMERIT, two state exams that measure academic performance. Results from the two exams will be collected by the Arizona Department of Education.

Not all students will test. Any students not required to participate in the state exams will follow a late-start schedule starting at 10:40 a.m.

State testing dates at McClintock:

AIMS Science – March 28

All Sophomores and Freshmen in Biology or Honors Biology will be testing. Administration has asked students to bring ear buds for testing.

AzMERIT Writing – April 1 & 2

All students enrolled in regular, Honors or AP Freshman, Sophomore or Junior English must test.

AzMERIT Reading – 15 & 16

All students enrolled in regular, Honors or AP Freshman, Sophomore or Junior English must test.

AzMERIT Math – April 22 & 23

All students enrolled in regular or Honors Algebra1-2, Geometry, or Algebra 3-4 must test.
