Longtime Charger Harold Bull was named a finalist for the 2019 Tempe Diablos Excellence in Education Awards.

Better known as Coach Bull, the Physical Education Department Chair was named a finalist for the Longtime Achievement Award.

Bull began teaching at McClintock in 1990. He currently teaches strength and conditioning.

Tempe Diablos awards scholarships to Tempe high school students, and awards teachers for their excellence in the classroom. This marks the 30th year of the awards ceremony.

The awards night will be held on May 10 at 7 p.m. at the Tempe Center for the Arts. The evening is free and open to the public.
