The ELL program sponsored an “ELL Celebration and Storytellers Event” on Friday, May 11th in the school library.

Over 90 people were in attendance to hear the stories of courage and bravery of students new to this country.

The lower levels of ELL created tri-fold boards and gave presentations about their countries.  The more advanced students gave speeches telling their immigration stories.  The stories were filled with examples of courage among the struggles.

The evening ended with a potluck celebration of the cultures.
