McClintock Announces the National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalists

34 academically talented high school seniors in the Tempe Union High School District will be competing in the 61 annual National Merit Scholarship award offered next spring.
These seniors must have an outstanding academic record throughout high school, demonstrate leadership abilities, participate in school and community activities, must be recommended by the school principal, and must write an essay.
“We are proud to see Tempe Union students continue to lead the pack. We solute our students for the hard work and dedication to their education and will continue to do everything we can to support and prepare then for life after high school,” TUHSD Superintendent Dr. Kenneth said.
