There will be a water line replacement project affecting the traffic along McClintock Drive.
The City of Tempe is installing new water lines on the east side of McClintock Drive between Broadway Road and Concorda Drive. The roadwork began on Nov. 18 and will last for approximately 60 days, until sometime in January.
The traffic control will start at 5 a.m. daily, and lanes will be restricted to only the southbound lanes and the center turning lanes.
Some activities that will be going on the road include saw cutting, trenching, backfilling, and repaving. Because of the roadwork, there might be some delays of students getting to school on time.
Waking up that 10 extra minutes early will help students get to school on time. For your safety, drive with caution.
