Senior Garret Unterreiner, alongside with his brother Jacob and friend Alexis Alzae, have been creating a cartoon called Barry Larry Thompson (also known as B.L.T) for about 31 weeks.

B.L.T is a cartoon show about sentient trash and bugs that live on a planet in outer space. Humans created them when they injected their waste into the universe. The story is created by the team called Loaf Animation Studios on YouTube.

“We made a couple of movies, and we just had an idea for a cartoon that we thought will be cool. So we figured why not go for it,” senior Garret Unterreiner said.

B.L.T also has multiple characters that are being played by real voice actors.

“I play Barry Larry Thompson who is the Bacon, Kierra plays Artemis the Cricket, Michael Tyler plays Alexander Scrambled, Ashton Brown plays Shelby, and there will be many more people down the line,” Unterreiner said.

Loaf Animation Studios is a big group, with a total of 763 views from two trailers, and B.L.T is hoping to gain a lot more.

“This is very optimistic, but at some point down the line, we’re going for five to ten thousand views,” Unterreiner said.

If Unterreiner and his team were given a contract to go national, they would accept it.

“I think we all will thoroughly enjoy making cartoons for a living,” Unterreiner said.

His team plans on doing this for a very long time. Even though they’re only out with two trailers, they’re ready to drop out new episodes this summer.
